Artist web site for artist Larry Smith of San Diego. Web site had to reflect Larry's relaxing and laid back way of life as well as his art. Using a brush stroke for his menu, his site was to be a portal to sell his nautical paintings. A web gallery split up into the various meduims so the user can browse the galleries that interest them.

Design notes: Designing a web site for another artist is a challenge. Since a web designer is an artist themselves, you tend to get two views on how these particular sites should be. Ultimatly, the artist you build the site for wins out, but that doesn't mean that as a web designer you have lost total control. Many artist welcome the web designer's interpretation on them.
